Two years ago, I applied for an EMT certification class on a whim. Nine months later and I am working night shifts in the ambulance – balancing my day job in economic policy with my newfound love for healthcare. Fast forward to January, 2023 and I left my career as a Hill staffer in pursuit of Medicine.

Now, join me as I travel the world before starting my pre-medical post-baccalaureate in May. This five month journey will take us on a bus loop through South America and train hopping in South/East/&Southeast Asia. We will be traversing through Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, & Brazil – India, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, & Laos – and finally, Japan. In addition to a weekly blog post, follow along in the library too as I read and write about one book from an artist of each country I visit.
